The Atlin Arts & Music Festival 2011 …

was an overwhelming success – audience members, musicians and artists alike had a wonderful time. Several people have commented that this was the best festival yet, and that this is THE northern festival to play.

Over 2,000 people flocked to Atlin to enjoy the 2011 Atlin Arts and Music Festival. The parade of vehicles started on Thursday, and continued well into Friday evening with our campground almost reaching capacity by Friday noon.

A huge thank you to Dorothy Odian and Tarahne Park, the Atlin Historical Society (Globe Theatre and benches), Anna Weirs (Kershaws), and those who manage St. Martins Church. Thanks also to the hundreds of individuals and organizations who volunteered, supported us financially and/or opened their homes to billet tech staff and musicians. Marjoke at My Table once again treated our guests to delicious meals which fuelled the fine energy of our festival. Special thanks to all our sponsors!

The biggest thank you goes out to our wonderful team and the people of Atlin. Thank you for opening your community to the festival and those who travel here to enjoy the music, art and beauty of your home.

Atlin, you rock!
