Join flute and guitar duo, Carmen Maret and Andrew Bergeron,  for an interactive presentation on tango rhythms and grooves. They will show the evolution of tango from its milonga beat to Nuevo tango. Dance demonstrations included!

Indian Raga & Tala with Kevin Essar

Join Kevin Qais Essar  (Traveler) in an educational workshop on Indian Raga (melody) and Tala performing with the Rabab, an Afghan lute instrument, dating back 2500 years, mentioned in countless works of Sufi poetry.   Trained extensively in both classical and folk mediums, Kevin has been able to fuse the Rabab with both western and eastern styling and has collaborated with many prominent artists and masters.
